LXConsole Live Pane The Live Control Pane appears on the right side of the main window and has controls for playing back cues. The main display in Live mode shows the output status. All live levels, are proportional to the setting of the Master fader. The Go button plays back the next cue. The Hold button pauses playback. To resume a held cue, click Go. The Back button allows you to step backward through cues that have been played. The Stop button cancels playback of the running cue and leaves the levels in the state that they are at when it is clicked. To run the next cue manually, set the Fader slider to zero. The Go button will change its name to Manual. Clicking the button when it is labeled Manual enables the Fader to control the progress of the cue. Up and down progress is proportional to the up and down times set for the cue. When the manual fader reaches 100%, the cue is complete. Hold has no effect on a manual fade. To exit a manual fade leaving the progress as it currently stands, click Stop. The live playback controls respond to MIDI and OSC messages and show control commands. For external controls to be active, the MIDI and/or OSC interface must be enabled in the File->External menu. MIDI commands that are executed in response to MIDI messages are defined in the MIDI tab of the Setup window. OSC commands that are executed in response to OSC messages are defined in the OSC tab of the Setup window. Live cues and submasters are overridden by channels that have been adjusted and marked in the "Live" main display. Until unmarked, these channels will not be altered by playing back other cues. Channels can be unmarked by clicking the arrow icon to the left of the "Next" field. There is also a preference that always releases marked channels when a cue is played back. |
