LXConsole Cue/Group/Sub Menu The "Cue" menu changes its name to "Group" or "Sub" depending on the display mode (View Menu). Cue/Group/Sub -> Next Cue, Next Group, Next Sub This command displays the next preset in the list for the current mode. Cue/Group/Sub -> Previous Cue, Previous Group, Previous Sub This command displays the previous preset in the list for the current mode. Cue/Group/Sub -> Add Cue, Add Group, Add Sub This command adds a preset to the document. When a preset is added, it is automatically assigned a number. The new number is the next whole number greater than the prior preset, unless a preset with that number already exists. In which case, the new preset's number is equal to the prior number + 0.1. Cue/Group/Sub -> Delete Cue, Delete Group, Delete Sub This command removes the current preset. Tracking Mode causes levels to be automatically tracked from cue to cue. Edited levels are marked as changed which stops the channel from tracking. And entire cue can be set to block tracking so than no levels will track into the cue. Tracking for an individual cue is updated when a cue is viewed or played. Tracking for all cues is updated automatically when a document is saved or manually using Update All Cues. Update All Cues causes tracking to be updated for all cues if tracking mode is enabled. Cues that reference groups are also updated with the current levels of marked channels in the group. Finally, levels are compared and marking is updated for changes between cues. Block Tracking stops levels from tracking into the current cue. Cue/Group/Sub -> Copy Previous Levels This command copies the levels from the previous preset into the current cue. Cue/Group/Sub -> Clear All Current Levels This command sets all the levels for all sub-channels to zero. Cue/Group/Sub -> Set All Levels to Home This command sets all the levels for all sub-channels to their home values. Cue/Group/Sub -> Part ->Flatten Parts This command assigns all channels to the main cue and removes all other parts. The Live menu contains commands that control the Live panel of the main window. The Live->Quick Mode command bypasses cue times for quickly scanning through cues. The same bypass can be temporarily enabled by holding down the option key while clicking either the Go or Back button in the Live window. The Live->Clear Live Sub Levels command sets the output level of all subs to zero. Group -> Create Groups from Channel Info Group and/or Sub presets can be automatically created using the channel info. The group field from the channel info is used to create a list. A preset is then created for each entry in the list. Each preset contains the channels associated with the group field at full. The preset's "what" field is set to the name of the group. Analyze Cue The Analyze Cue function assembles a description of a cue using the "group" and "use" fields in the channel table and the levels for the current display. The analysis results are displayed in a sheet and can be added to the "What" field attached to the cue. The analysis results atempt to display level information as succinctly as possible. If all channels with a common group are at the same level, the results will simply show: group@level. If there are varying levels within the group, these will get broken down by use. |
