Audio Symbols

It would nice to have some basic symbols for audio, like speakers, monitors, sound consoles ...

You can add any group of graphics to a key and use it as a symbol. The simplest way is to draw the graphic for your symbol using LXBeam's drawing tools. Select the graphics and choose Format->Convert->To Key Entry with Custom Symbol... For sound system components you want to set the kind popup to "Other". Leave the generated UUID as the KeyID. Click "Next". Then click "OK". You should see your new symbol in the palette of the current file.

You'll want to select your new symbol from the palette and draw an instance. Or, after selecting it, choose "Keep In Key" from the popup options button to the right of the symbols palette in the Inspector's Symbols tab. That way, if you load a different key, your custom symbol won't get deleted because it is unused.
