PATCH FROM EXCEL
Re: PATCH FROM EXCEL
LXConsole will import channel information from a CSV file which you can make using Excel.
The first column must be channel numbers. Then, additional columns can be group, use, note, and address.
When you choose File->Import->Channel Data... to import the CSV file you will be allowed to choose which columns to import (group, use, note, address). The columns must be in this order but are optional. So, if you have two columns in your CSV file, channel and address, and choose to only import the patch column, it will work.
You may want to choose View->Setup and clear the patch using the popup in the Channels tab of the setup window before importing patch data.
