Presets/Palettes?
Presets/Palettes?
I played a bit with a robe 300 wash to see how it behaves, recorded some cues but is there is a way to make color, position presets/palettes. Can’t seem to find it.
Re: Presets/Palettes?
Groups are used as presets in LXConsole. When a group is recalled, only marked channels/subchannels are used. When editing a group, select a channel and use Channel->Mark Selected... to choose which subchannels are marked to be included in the group. You can, for example, choose only pan and tilt for a channel to make a location group (preset).
Recalling a group on the command line "group: 1@[full]]" will set the recorded channels to the remembered position (in the case of a group that makes pan and tilt). After recording a cue, changing the group will not, however, change the location of the channel. In order to do that, you have to include the group in the cue. To do this, switch to editing the cue and look at the Inspector's Cue Options pane. There is a table of groups that are included in the cue. If you include the position group in a cue, changing the position recorded in the group will change the cue.
A shortcut to including a group in a cue is to use shift+G [group number] [enter]. This expands to "Group: nnn" and that form of the group command will directly add the group number nnn to the included groups of the cue.
