trackpad in Channel Controls

Postby JePiPo » Thu Feb 13, 2025 1:19 pm

Hello,

I would like to report a “strange behavior” of the trackpad when I drive a moving light in “channel controls” mode.

For all subchannels, the level goes up or down when I slide my finger up or down, which seems correct to me. But for the PAN & TILT subchannels, PAN is adjusted from top to bottom and TILT from left to right!

I think it would be more intuitive to adjust the PAN from left to right and the TILT from top to bottom.

How can I change this?

Best regards.

In the subchannel table on the left, select the Tilt row. When this is selected, using two fingers with the cursor over the trackpad area, tilt will be up/down while pan will be left/right.

When the Pan row is selected, the opposite is true, pan is up/down and tilt is left/right. In general, the selected row is controlled by up/down. Pan and tilt are the exceptions where side-to-side scrolling over the trackpad has a function. (Because pan is always paired with tilt.)
