Postby pace514 » Fri Oct 14, 2022 4:03 pm

Hi ALL !!!

Using v 6.2.1. How do you unpatch range of dimmers ? I've tried xx>xx@oo enter. Does not work. I can go in the patch column, but it leave me with a lot of p (parts) in the channels column.

Thanks

1) Select the channels by either clicking in the main display or with the command line (ie. 61>69 selects channels sixty one through sixty nine).

2) Choose Channel->Setup Hilited Channels...

3) Select each part in the parts table and delete it by clicking the - button. (The parts table will be empty when you are done)

4) Click OK.

This results in the channels in the range being empty. You will need to setup each channel with at least one part in order to use it. You can setup multiple channels at the same time. However, LXConsole will want to offset the base address of the second and later selected channels which you may not want.

The latest build of LXConsole, 6.3.0 (17514.1), requires you to explicitly specify a base address when sequentially patching multiple channels. If no base address is specified, the second and later channels are setup identically but are left unpatched. With this version you could do the following:

1) Select the channels by either clicking in the main display or with the command line.

2) Choose Channel->Setup Hilited Channels...

3) Select each part in the parts table and delete it by clicking the - button.

4) Click the + button and select a generic dimmer part to create.

5) Click OK.

With this version the parts of the selected range of channels are replaced with a generic dimmer part which is unpatched.
