I have used Lxfree for years and now am using LxPlan ver 2.9.0.
It is freezing when opening a file. I have got around that by going to the file location and opening it from there.
However, it is now freezing when I attempt to export to PDF.
Any ideas?
I have tried to install version 2.9.2 but have failed also. I get an error message telling me that the msi file is not commonly downloaded and it refuses to open. When I download the exe file, it also refuses to open.

LxPlan freezing
Re: LxPlan freezing
LXPlan uses an open source library for PDF export. This does not always produce universally compatible PDF files. Particularly fonts and imported images can cause issues. If you are concerned about a particular file, you can email it and we can try to see what is going on.
An alternative to the direct export method is to use Microsoft's Print-to-PDF and print to a PDF file. This may produce better results. If your plot is not a single page already, you may need to specify a custom paper size when printing to a file using this method.
The latest version (2.9.3 (19802.1)) consolidates export of graphic formats under one menu command. The type of file produced is determined by the export options (View->Options, Export tab). However, if the extension is changed to PDF, then the open source library export is used to produce a PDF file.
