If have problems with zooming the workspace with my mouse wheel (MacBookPro 16'' Intel, Ventura, Logitech MX Anywhere 25).
Most times the workspace jumps to unexpected positions while zooming with the mouse wheel. Also a pan tool will helpful to move the sheet around, on many CAD programs I can use the 3rd mouse button for this.
Zoom with mouse wheel issue
Re: Zoom with mouse wheel issue
If you use the scroll wheel to zoom, holding down the function [fn] key will turn the arrow tool into a pan tool.
Zooming centers itself on either selected objects or the last point in the plot area that was clicked. If you zoom sometime after the last click, it could appear that the zooming was centered on a random location. Select an object before you zoom and you'll zoom in on that object.

Re: Zoom with mouse wheel issue
The latest build of LXBeams, Version 6.5.0 (19811.1) allows you to use the scroll wheel button on a mouse to make the arrow tool into a pan tool. It also improves the zooming behavior so that you can use a regular click with the arrow tool or a click and drag to select the area of the drawing to magnify.

Re: Zoom with mouse wheel issue
Version 6.5.0 (19812.1) actually is better in that it does not jump when scrolling to zoom and it zooms in on the cursor location when you started to zoom.
Re: Zoom with mouse wheel issue
Thank you, this works much better than before.
