importing .lxx into .lxx ?

Hi Claude !

Is there any way I can import a LX-Plan file into another one ?
For instance I have a basic plan with different layers and I'd like to import it into another LX plan with different layers.
If I use CTRL+C / CTRL+V I have either to copy each layer separately and align them into the target file, or copy them at once but on one single layer.

Thanks for your response !
All the best,

Pierre

The latest Windows installers contain LXPlan version 2.8.3 (16429.1) which allows importing visible layers from a .lxx or .lxxplot file. (.lxx and .lxxplot are interchangeable and are the same file format)

With version 2.8.3, use File->Import->Graphic from File... Select a .lxx or .lxxplot file and its visible layers will be imported.

The location of the imported graphics will align with the origin of the plot. If a graphic was centered on the origin of the plot being imported, it will be centered on the origin of the plot that is doing the importing.
