Changing Layer Sequence
Changing Layer Sequence
How does one change the sequence of layers in the Layers display box in LXPlan?
Re: Changing Layer Sequence
I figured out how to move layers but it is not intuitive nor consistent. I'm running LXPlan Free on Linux Mint and the only reasonably consistent way to do it is to click on the button below the layer display and carefully position the mouse pointer to the bottom left quadrant of the layer selection box and carefully move the mouse to the right and up to engage the move function. Works about 50% of the time!
Would be nice to have a move function entry in the button list. Or is that in the licensed version?

Re: Changing Layer Sequence
The only way to re-order the layers used to be with the popup button. Then, drag-and-drop replaced the menu commands.
Drag and drop works the same in all Java tables. You have to select the row and move the cursor sharply to "tear off" the item and allow it to be repositioned.
Perhaps it is best to allow both options, drag-and-drop as well as restoring the commands to the popup. This will happen in a future release.
