patch on last version of lx

Postby c21h44 » Sat Jun 11, 2022 9:11 pm

hello claude and thank you for your great work.

I do not understand how to patch several circuits on the same channel in the latest version of lx. I have no problem to do that in version 5.5.0 and the previous one.

thank you

You need to add a part to the channel for each address. Open the channel setup sheet by selecting the channel (Type the number into the command line or click on it). Then select Channel->Setup Hilited Channels... from the bottom of the menu. For each address you want to control, you must add a part in the parts table. When you add a part, you must choose a type. if you are adding conventional dimmers, choose Basic->Dimmer. Otherwise, select the type of fixture you are patching. Once you have added a part, you can assign its address in the second column of the parts table.

If you are adding additional parts of the same type (which in most cases is the best choice) you can type addresses separated by commas into the Inspector's Patch table's Patch column. LXConsole will add parts to the channel for you.
