intentionnal flicking

Postby pace514 » Mon Feb 07, 2022 1:46 pm

Hi all !!!

I'm looking for a way to make wall lights flick to simulate an electric problem. Is some one has found a way to make it a bit realistic ???
Bulbs are incandescents.

Thanks in advance for your help !

You might try an effect like the "Lightning" effect. (Go to the effects window; click the + button, select Lightning from the list of pre-built effects.

I have used an 8 step channel effect with various levels for each step. When the effect is set to random, it can produce a fire-light like flickering. It takes a little playing to get the levels to work to get a bit of variation, but not too much. But, that's another approach.
