Hi Claude!!!
A few random questions...

1 – In “Configure Universes,” I only checked the first universe, but I can scroll down all the way to the 12th.
Is there a way to limit the number of universes?

2 – I randomly picked a Rogue R3X Wash from the Capture 2024 library and set it to 21-channel mode.
After patching the Rogue, is it normal that I can’t change the DMX address? (see video)

To make everything line up, I had to insert some dummy parameters, so they would match. (see photo)
I'm sure it's not the right way to do it. How would you approach it? PP

1- Unassigned universes in "Configure Universes" are not output. LXConsole allows for up to 12 universes, which is a fixed number. By only checking the first universe, you've limited LXConsole to one universe of output.

2- You cannot change the patch column when you have the patch table in "Address" mode. Switch it to channel mode and you'll be able to edit the patch. Note that you can ALWAYS only change the base address of a multi-parameter channel. You can never change the addresses of individual parameters. In order to do something like that, you'd need to re-arrange the parameters (subchannels) in the channel setup window's subchannels table.

3- You need to assign a 2 in the bytes column for Pan and Tilt. You can use dummy parameters where the second byte in the DMX output is. But you won't get the full resolution of pan and tilt possible. Look at the built-in setup for Chauvet MK3 Wash for an example. At the moment, LXConsole only supports one or two bytes of precision. You can select the row (eg. "Pan") in the subchannels table and click the "resolution" button to see the supported options.
