As i'm using Robin LedBeam 350 RGBA mode 2 (16 DMX channels) here in lyon I have made a new type of feature (RobinLedBeam 350 RGBA Mode 2 (16Ch). To do that I' use standard subchannel and 2 custom subchannels for feature wich no exist in your library.
To create my lighting I should have the custom subchannel "Color Mix" at 7%.
It's working well when I program but these custom subchannel are not saved when I save and close the file! As you can see for channel 1 in test.lxcues (https://www.dropbox.com/t/DHJ0VODqmwqesHoP)
For channel 2, I changed the custom subchannel 1002 to a standard subchannel 1 Color and now this subchannel Is saved when I save and close the file !
What should I do to create custom subchannel who shall be saved when save and close the file ?
I'm using LxConsole 6.4.4 on a MacBook Pro running macOS Monterey 12.7.2
Thank's in advance for your help
Happy New Year
Custom subchannels
Re: Custom subchannels
All custom subchannels must have numbers above 1000. All numbers below 1000 are reserved. If you use a number below 1000 for a custom subchannel number, it will be replaced by the standard function of that subchannel number.
Re: Custom subchannels
For Robe fixtures, you can generally find them at GDTF Share (https://gdtf-share.com).
There is a post in this forum that details how to import GDTF files and convert them for use by LXConsole.
I did this for the 350LED fixture and uploaded it to the user contributed files page on claudeheintzdesign.com:

Re: Custom subchannels
Hello,
Thank's for your answer.
My custom subchannels have the numbers 1001 And 1002 !
You do'nt explain me why my custom subchannels 10002 in channel 1 is not saved when i reopen the file after to have saved et closed then.
I use group as palettes for colors or positions
As you have used only standard subchannel to build your RobeRobin 350 it's meaning that only standard subchannel are saved in the file, as I’m suspected ?
Regards

Re: Custom subchannels
I guess I don't understand your question. If something is not saving in the file you posted, then I can't see what is missing.
Here is what I do see:
I see both 1001 and 1002 in channel one.
I see 1001 in channel two. I see subchannel 1 in almost the same place as 1002 in channel one.
If I add subchannel 1002 to channel two and save the file, it saves correctly.
Custom subchannels are saved as long as the number is greater than 1000.

I loose the levels recorded for the sub channel when I reopens the file.

Re: Custom subchannels
I understand now. This is fixed in LXConsole 6.5.3 (18931.2). Thanks for clarifying and reporting this.
Re: Custom subchannels
Of course, it wasn't clear!
I downloaded 5.3 and it works fine.
Thank you very much for your availability in this end-of-year period.
