Fading a sub

Postby pace514 » Sat Oct 21, 2023 9:16 pm

Hi Claude !!!

Sometime i think i'm going to a black out but i forgot that a fader/sub is up. Can i make a fader to fade down along with the rest of the cue ?

Thanks a lot !

You can assign an action to a cue that fades the subs master down along with the down time of the cue.

In "Cues" display mode, navigate to the cue.

In the Inspector's "Cue Options" tab, add an action to the cue and use the popup in the actions table to set it to:
"Down -> Subs Master"

Running the cue will then fade down the subs master.

You may then want to use Cue->Live->Clear Live Sub Levels to get rid of any subs that are up and to restore the subs master to full.

Note that the second live fader to the left of the overall master can be assigned to be the subs master instead of the default "Manual":
Cue->Live->Second Live Fader->Subs Master So, you'd be able to manually restore the sub levels. But, if you don't know which subs are on, clearing them all to zero may work best.
