In LXConsole's main display, click on the channel you want to setup. Or, enter its number on the command line. You should see the channel number in the display change to indicate that it is active on the command line (hilited).

Select Channel->Setup Hilited Channels...

You will probably see a single channel part listed as a dimmer in the parts table of the channel setup sheet. Select that part and click the "Set Type" button.

Choose Martin->Rush 2 from the available channel setups. You need to know if you are using the 5 or 9 address profile. Once you have selected the profile, you can click the "Edit" button to see the list of subchannels if you are curious. If you do this, click "Done"" to return to the parts list.

In the parts table, enter the DMX address of your fixture in the address column. Click "OK" and your channel is setup.

For the Elation SIXBAR 1000, repeat the procedure for selecting a channel and using the Channel->Setup Hilited Channels... command.

You will probably see a single channel part listed as a dimmer in the parts table of the channel setup sheet. Select that part and click the "Edit" button.

Select the "Intensity" subchannel and click the "-" button under the subchannels table. (You'll see why in a moment. It is easiest to add your subchannels in the order of the DMX profile.)

Click the "+" button under the subchannels table. Select "Red" from the popup list.

Click the "+" button under the subchannels table. Select "Green" from the popup list.

Click the "+" button under the subchannels table. Select "Blue" from the popup list.

Click the "+" button under the subchannels table. Select "White" from the popup list.

Click the "+" button under the subchannels table. Select "Amber" from the popup list.

Click the "+" button under the subchannels table. Select "UV" from the popup list.

Click the "+" button under the subchannels table. Select "intensity" from the popup list. (It's the first choice at the top of the list).

Click "Done"

In the parts table, enter the DMX address of your fixture in the address column. Click "OK" and your channel is setup.
