Coordinate on Section Side view

Hello,

I notice since a long time that the origin in the horizontal ruler of side section view doesn't match the origin in the top view.

Is there any settings that can change that or is it a bug?

thank you in advance.
best regards

Jérôme

I don't see this issue. Perhaps it is specific to your plot. You can email the file and we'll take a look to see what might be going on.

Do you mean the ruler or the coordinates shown in the tool bar?

It seems like the coordinates shown in the tool bar may not account for zoom of a section view. That can probably be fixed.

The ruler and grid seem to be correct.

This should be fixed in the latest build, Version 6.7.0 (22409.1)

Hi Thanks for your answer,

In my case the ruler ist not right as well
the coordinate in the toolbar I don't know if they are right or not as they are not showing in my case.
Im on macos Catalina 10.15.7

I made some tests with a new file and the problem is linked to the reverse x-axis function.
if x-axis is reverted then the y coordinate are wrong in the side section

and the x axis is wrong in the front section

if x axis is not inverted in the respective sections then the coordinates are right.

bests regards

Which version of LXBeams did you use for your example?

Does this happen with 6.7.0 (22413.1) or (22409.1)?

Note that when a section's coordinates are reversed, the sign (+/-) of the numbers in the ruler are not reversed but the distance from the origin should be correct. (Reversing the +/- of the ruler is not possible because the ruler is built into the operating system.)
