Re: .asc
I'm not seeing a problem with ASCII export. It could be one of three things. It could be an issue that hasn't come up that is due to the contents of the file you are trying to export. Similarly, it could be an issue with one of the options for ASCII output you've chosen. And, problems always can be ...

Re: USE COMMA FOR DECIMAL VALUE
Can you post an example where you've tried this and it doesn't work?
LXBeams uses the MacOS system settings for treatment of numbers. So, it is surprising that it doesn't adapt automatically to local formatting of numbers.

Re: trackpad in Channel Controls
In the subchannel table on the left, select the Tilt row. When this is selected, using two fingers with the cursor over the trackpad area, tilt will be up/down while pan will be left/right. When the Pan row is selected, the opposite is true, pan is up/down and tilt is left/right. In general, the sel...

Re: Printing to Scale
Yes, actual size is 1/4"=1'-0" or 1:50 if using metric. To get another scale, you want to set the document zoom and then use the "Current Zoom" option when you go to print. For example, if you want the plot to be twice the standard scale, you would set the zoom to 200%. When prin...

Re: Resizing instruments
The size of the symbols are fixed and cannot be changed. They match the scale of either 1/4"=1'-0" or 1:50 depending on if metric scale is selected. This is standard over all LXSeries applications.

Re: Sub channels standard ?
Subchannels are a way that LXSeries software represents controllable parameters of a fixture. Various companies do this differently and there is no industry standard. In GDTF (General Device Type Format), which is newer than the original LXSeries design, parameters are called attributes and have nam...

Re: quick Go allert
The latest build of LXConsole, Version 6.6.5 (19914.1), replaces the time for the next cue (displayed in the live controls panel) with a QUICK indication when quick mode is enabled and the cue time will be bypassed.

If you are asking about the Inspector at the bottom of the window, you can click on the dot (or anywhere else) in the split pane divider to resize it.

Re: Issue creating stage curve
The latest build of LXBeams adds a Format->Transform->Add to Path... command which allows extending a path by adding either a curveTo or LineTo segment at the end. You could start with a curve drawn by the curve tool and add more curve segments, each with its own control points, using this new comma...

Re: osc control to a video shutter
Probably the most efficient way to do that is to create an effect that has a single step which fades the channel for the shutter over the desired time. Make sure that the effect does not loop! (but has manual step selected) Then, trigger the effect through a received OSC message. A channel based eff...
