Re: User file type

I'm not sure I understand how you created the profile and how renaming the edited profile didn't work. If you could post the steps you took when the problem happened, what you expected to happen, and what did happen that was different than you expected, I can help you better. The way the channel set...

Re: Additional Chauvet Fixtures

A key file containing these 3 fixtures is available on the user contributed content page: https://www.claudeheintzdesign.com/cgi-bin/download_user.cgi You can import this key file then either use the fixtures in the plot or use the "Keep in Key" option to make sure they are not replaced. T...

Re: Symbols, GUI elements and font sizes

Thanks for the suggestion. The size is compact to get as much information as possible on smaller screens. I wonder if anyone else has an opinion about this.

Re: Darkmode and Font Size issues

I see that the headers in the settings popover are not correct for dark mode. They are just labels and should not affect functionality until that can be corrected. I'm not sure what you mean by the info being unreadable. The label size is the same as in light mode. It all seems readable to me except...

Re: Invert channel

There is a new latest build of LXConsole that includes an "Adjust Channel Level" script. The script will either add or subtract from non-zero levels of a channel in a range of cues. Or, it will invert the level of the channel (100-previous) in the range of cues. This script is probably a g...

Re: Invert channel

Do you mean newLevel = 100 - oldLevel? If so, you could modify the built-in AppleScript "Switch Channel Levels" as follows. (Use LXConsole->Install Extras->Copy of Built-in AppleScripts and modify the "Switch Channel Levels" script or simply paste the following into a blank scrip...

Re: Custom Symbol

The following are links to PDF slides from teaching a comprehensive LXSeries workshop. There are a couple of methods of creating a custom symbol. The first is to just use LXBeams to draw your symbol using its regular drawing tools and convert that group of graphics into a symbol. The second is to cr...

Re: DMX ARTNET SACN CURVE

Fades in LXConsole are linear floating point until the output. If the output profile for a dimmer is linear, then the DMX output will be exactly linear. If you have a channel fading from zero to full in three minutes, at 1:30 into the fade, the DMX for that address will be 0x80 with a linear profile...
