You don't need the "@100" just use "SUB-1". The "@100" doesn't mean anything and may cause an issue.
For a channel use "1@%p". Or whatever channel besides 1 followed by "@%p".

I think what you are seeing the the result of an autosave where the report scrolls to its selection when the autosave completes. You can adjust the autosave interval in the preferences' general tab.

Can you explain what your DMX settings are in the preferences? Is The input set to USB and the monitor box checked? Is the ENTTEC USB Pro selected in the DMX info as the protocol for USB DMX? Did you use File->Import->DMX to start receiving? Depending on if you have selected to import the DMX stream...

The installation may or may not completely work on RedHat type systems. You can put a number in a box easily by drawing a circuit text field. To do this, choose Format->Tool->Text Tool->Circuit, select the text tool, draw a field and enter the number.
