Re: IMPOSSIBLE to save!!

This sounds like a system issue, not an issue with LXConsole which uses a MacOS AppKit framework to save files. The first thing to do its to check the System Settings which you find in the Apple menu. Be sure that you quit LXConsole before doing this. Look at the "Privacy and Security" set...

Re: Greyed instruments

Actually on further examination I was able to reproduce this with lights that have a group type symbol. Originally there were only path type symbols. But group type symbols were added later. When you convert a graphic into a symbol, LXBeams makes a group type symbol. The transparency issue only happ...

Re: Greyed instruments

I cannot duplicate this issue using version 6.5.5 (20114.1) You could send the specific file along with the exact version (build) of LXBeams and I can take a look to see if I can reproduce. The latest builds have a lot of under-the-hood changes to keep up with Apple and new versions of MacOS and Xco...

Re: three requests

LXConsole Version 6.5.2 (18801.1) is available as a latest build. The tracksheet can display Groups and Subs in addition to cues. Strictly speaking, the display of groups and subs does not make sense in a tracksheet because these are discrete presets and channels do not "track" from the pr...

Re: Panic black via midi

You can add a MIDI action triggered by a button on your controller that sets the master to zero. You'd need a solution to restore the master, perhaps most simple would be to do it manually in LXConsole's main window. Here's how to set that up. Choose View->Setup. In the setup window, choose MIDI fro...

Re: what's a "temporary version"?

You have more than one license. You can email me and I'll send the appropriate license file. (The latest license was sent by email back in August. Licenses are sent from claudeheintzdesign not PayPal.) Best to do this by email rather than by public post. The license names and associated emails are n...

Re: what's a "temporary version"?

You are likely using your email as a temporary license instead of using the license file or manually entering the license that you purchased. You can refer to the license email you received for instructions and the specific name code combination or license file needed to validate your license. The s...

Re: OSC address changes randomly

What exact version of LXConsole does this happen with? LXConsole will try to find a usable network address if the address set in the preferences is not available. But, at least the latest builds, should not change to any address if the set address is missing, only to a new network address. So, if yo...

Re: Fading a sub

You can assign an action to a cue that fades the subs master down along with the down time of the cue. In "Cues" display mode, navigate to the cue. In the Inspector's "Cue Options" tab, add an action to the cue and use the popup in the actions table to set it to: " Down -> S...

Re: The model and its z level

For clarification, the coordinate systems are relative to each other: If you use the document origin, the translation settings for the model move the model in relationship to 3D objects in the main drawing. If you don't use the document origin, the translation settings for the model move the 3D obje...
