Re: Martin Mac250 Wash and 350 Entour

The Martin key in LXBeams' library already includes a Mac 250 and Mac 250 narrow.

The 350 can be added. When the Martin key in the library is updated, we'll put a post here and you'll be able to download an new version of LXBeams.

Re: Quality problem with rendering a plot in PDF and JPG/PNG

There is not built-in operating system support on Windows and Linux for PDF like there is on MacOS. So, LXPlan uses open source libraries for PDF export. The quality of import and export using these libraries can vary depending on the exact content, especially when it comes to fonts and text. The la...

Re: Audio Symbols

You can add any group of graphics to a key and use it as a symbol. The simplest way is to draw the graphic for your symbol using LXBeam's drawing tools. Select the graphics and choose Format->Convert->To Key Entry with Custom Symbol... For sound system components you want to set the kind popup to &q...

Re: Rendering an oval lens

It may be that this is due to an issue with an automated/color mixing fixture with an oval beam. You can try the latest version of LXPlan and see if that makes a difference.

Re: osc command to cotrol a sub

In Qlab send the following message:

/cmd.lxconsole/SUB-1 #v#

OSC Settings should be
OSC Message - Patch ?, 1D Fade, 30 fps, floats, duration of whatever time you want, fade in from 0 to 1.0

Re: Rendering an oval lens

If the fixture properties have beamX and beamY included and a drawn symbol of that type is selected, you should have the ability to set the axis. You can also look in the properties table of the Inspector's info tab to confirm if the fixture has a "Beam Axis" property. The only rendering o...
