The Drawing Properties tab controls the graphic properties of the drawing tools. Or, if graphic objects are selected, it sets the properties of the selected objects. The Drawing tab has six sections that have different drawing functions->Stroke/Fill, Line, Rotate, Info Field Style, and Dimension/Coordinates. The sixth or bottom section allows controled duplication and moving of selected objects. If a drawing tool is active, this tab shows how a new object will be drawn. If both the stroke and fill boxes are checked, the object will be drawn with an outline (stroke) and interior (fill) in the colors shown. To change a color, click on the color well that you wish to change. The sliders below the color wells control the transparency of the stroke or fill. When the selection tool is active, the stroke/fill tab displays the characteristics of any selected objects. If there is more than one object selected and their properties are not the same, changing a property will cange all the objects even though only the state of the first selected object is reflected by the controls. The Line section controls show the stroke width and, if applicable, a line style. The Rotate section controls the rotation of objects. The Field section lets you add a hexagon or circle to a light's info field. Changing one info field changes all similar info fields. For example, selecting a channel info field and selecting "Hexagon" from the field menu will cause all channel fields to be drawn inside a hexagon. The Measurements table below the Field controls shows dimension/coordinate properties of (a) selected object(s). The coordinate units and origin are setup in the Inspector panel's Document tab. At the bottom of the Drawing tab is a set of controls for duplicating objects. |
