About LXSeries Pro Licenses
License Codes
LXPlan requires a LXSeries Pro license if it is used for commercial purposes. Commercial use includes using the software for events where tickets are sold or to create a design for which you are paid. LXSeries Pro licenses do not expire and will always work with the version of the software that is current at the time of purchase.
If you are not using the software for a commercial purpose and don't need the advanced features, you don't need the pro license to use the software. If you are using the software for entirely free events, or just want to learn the software, you can ask for a temporary internet enabled license by sending an email to lx@claudeheintzdesign.com.
If you do not purchase a license, but consider the software useful, please consider a donation to help LXPlan keep improving. If you have donated in the past, your donation may be applied towards the purchase of an LXSeries Pro license.
If you purchase an LXSeries Pro license, a license code is required to confirm and activate it. License codes are uniquely generated and must match the "licensed to:" name. License codes are provided in files containing both the code and the matching name.

Purchasing a License Code
LXSeries software is available by download only. You should download and install the LXPlan software prior to requesting a license code.
The purchased license code is created individually and is provided in a file that is emailed to you. Please allow 24 hours from submitting your request and payment for your license code to be sent to you.
When you have received your LXSeries Pro license file, you will need to open the Options window and import it. First, choose View->Options, and then click "Import LXSeries Pro License". Next, locate the downloaded file and open it. Once you have imported the file containing the license code, you will stop seeing messages about commercial use. You can view the license by choosing Help->License.
To obtain an LXSeries Pro license and code, submit a request for a software license code by opening https://www.macluxpro.com/cgi/lxseriespro_rflc_java.cgi in your browser. At the end of the request process, you will be directed to PayPal to securely complete the transaction (PayPal account is not required). After PayPal processes your payment and sends an e-mail receipt, your license code is created and e-mailed to you.
